Is this ONLY for use with Magento

Is affiliates for all only used with Magento? Or can you use it with other open source shopping cart solutions, like OSCommerce, Zen Cart, Ubercart (Drupal), Virtue Cart (Joomla), etc?

There is a third party integration for PrestaShop, but apart from that it's Magento only, yes.

It's fairly straightforward to integrate AfA with a custom website. For example, if you had a site that sells one product through PayPal, it would be fairly easy to add AfA support. Integrating with a complete shopping cart is usually more complicated, but only because you have to learn the cart's API.

Hi Pete,

Is there any how-to manual showing how to do such integration? I mean which scripts are involved, what parameters are used, how the process flows, and what is expected on AFA side from the cart API?

Thanks

Unfortunately this isn't very well documented at the moment. I've put a few notes together here. Good luck!

I think Magento can not be used with other open source.

I don't understand; lots of people are using Magento with other open source. It isn't just AfA, there are lots of open source products that interoperate with it. Why do you think it isn't possible?
